Enertech
Enertech is a specialized team in energy engineering for buildings, which main fields of action are thermal and electrical engineering of buildings, renovation, and expertise, advise to contracting authorities and employers, as well as applied research, education, teaching and developing measurement devices and systems. It haves a 11 years of history in end-users metering campaigns for the electricity Demand Side Management.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research is part of the Fraunhofer Society for Applied Research in Germany. The Fraunhofer ISI complements the scientific and technological spectrum of the Fraunhofer Institutes through interdisciplinary research on the interdependence between technology, economy and society. The main fields of research of the Energy Policy and Energy Systems Department are energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, economic analyses, and energy and climate policy.
Energy piano is an independent consultancy company; it uses
subcontractors within a network of smaller consults, software companies
and industries producing enabling technology.
The SINTEF Group is the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia. SINTEF Energy Research focuses on finding solutions related to power production and conversion, transmission / distribution and the end use of energy both onshore and off-shore/subsea, covering all the key areas, from the indoor climate and energy use in buildings to gas technology, combustion, bio energy, refrigeration engineering and technology for the food and nutrition industry.
The EnEffect activities are aimed at energy efficiency improvement in all spheres of public life while supports the efforts of the central and local authorities in Bulgaria to achieve sustainable development of the country. The main priority is to overcome the barriers to energy efficiency in Bulgarian munici-palities and introduction of incentives for energy savings; development and manage-ment of demonstration and investment projects; elaboration of municipal energy effi-ciency programs; education and training; dissemination of information.
SEVEn’s mission is to protect the environment and support economic development by encouraging more efficient use of energy. The SEVEn activities focus on business development, economic and efficient energy use consultancy services, trying to overcome barriers, which prevent the adequate use of economically effective energy savings in everyday life, household situations, industry, commercial and public spheres.
CRES is the Greek national entity for the promotion of renewable energy sources, rational use of energy and energy savings. Its primary aim is to promote technological applications at national and international level, implementing innovative projects and significant activities for the promotion and market penetration of new energy technologies.
The Central European University (CEU) was established in 1991 to promote educational and academic development throughout the former socialist block. The Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy of the CEU is a pan-regional centre of excellence for environment-related studies, and it is also uniquely positioned to be a leader organization in energy-efficiency related research and market transformation activities in the former socialist block. The CEU has devoted its work to the promotion of sustainable energy policies for a decade. An important part of the department's mission within CEE and the FSU is to form a collaborative network of professionals working to understand and manage common environmental and sustainability problems.
